A little about my background
Although I have been fascinated by vessels of various kinds and how they facilitate and shape human life all my life, it was not until 2019 that I could finally enroll in my first wheel-throwing course.
I use wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques to create my designs. Thanks to my generous teachers Mad Morio (Paris), Emmanuelle Tourniaire (Montpellier), and Elisabeth Blanes (Montpellier), I have gained solid understanding and am ready to teach this knowledge to my students.
Since my Master's in Physics, I have worked as a scientific editor. I seek to deepen my scientific and technical knowledge of ceramics to make my practice more efficient and less energy- and resource-consuming. My wish is to help my students better understand the characteristics and limitations of clay through in-depth lessons.
My focus lies on the study of forms, lines, and structures.
I strive for sensible and timeless designs, in the hope that my pieces can remain in a daily dialogue with the people who adopt them.
